The tie and buckle are made from paracord, a lightweight, strong, and durable nylon cord that was originally used for parachutes. The buckle is woven tightly around the tie allowing the Book Bolo to securely hold your book closed. The loose ends of the tie are finished with color, faceted hematite beads.
